Project Manager

May 27, 2026

At Adria Winch you work on real problems with real consequences. Our team of engineers, machinists, welders, and electrical specialists designs and builds equipment that operates in some of the world’s harshest environments — from the North Sea to Arctic waters. Every person here contributes to something that physically leaves the facility and performs for decades at sea.

About the Role

You will manage marine equipment projects from contract signing through to delivery and commissioning — owning the schedule, budget, technical scope, and client relationship. Projects typically involve custom-engineered winch systems or complete deck machinery packages for newbuilds or retrofits at shipyards across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from kickoff through engineering, procurement, production, testing, and delivery
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets; identify and mitigate risks early
  • Act as the primary point of contact for shipyards, classification societies, and end clients
  • Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and production departments
  • Manage approval drawings and documentation submission to classification societies
  • Attend factory acceptance tests and represent Adria Winch during vessel commissioning and sea trials

What We’re Looking For

  • You keep projects moving — you identify blockers before they become delays and resolve them without escalating everything
  • You are comfortable in technical conversations with naval architects, class surveyors, and chief engineers
  • You thrive in a project environment where every order is different and schedules are real constraints

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of project management experience in marine, offshore, or industrial equipment
  • Strong communication skills — you write clearly, follow up consistently, and manage expectations
  • English proficiency is essential; Norwegian or other languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel to shipyards and client sites internationally
