May 27, 2026

A new live fish carrier vessel is being constructed at Havyard Shipyard in Leirvik, Sogn, Norway. The ship, part of the HST 124 series designed by Havyard, will handle loading of live fish, fish distribution, cleaning, disinfection, cooling of fish load and other usual operations.

Adria Winch is providing the vessel’s complete anchor-mooring deck equipment package: 2 hydraulic anchor winches (40K3 model), 4 hydraulic mooring winches with 100 kN pulling capacity, 2 auxiliary hydraulic winches with 50 kN capacity, 4 hydraulic mooring capstans with 20 kN capacity, and 1 hydraulic mooring capstan with 50 kN capacity. The mooring winches feature automatic tensioning of mooring rope with remote control capability. All equipment has been metallised to withstand the harsh conditions of northern seas.
